Approaching the Market
We seek quotes from the broader general insurance market before making any recommendations.
In Gear works with all major insurers and more than 100 specialist insurers and underwriting agencies, ensuring access to a broad range of products to best suit your needs.
Claims Advocacy
One of the most valuable services we offer is claims advocacy.
Claims can be stressful and time-consuming. When you notify us of an insured event, we will:
- Lodge the claim with your insurer
- Actively monitor and manage the claim until resolution
- Keep you informed at each stage of the claims process
Remuneration
In return for our services, we may receive a commission from the insurer, generally between 0% and 25% of the premium paid (excluding taxes and levies).
We may also charge a broker fee which will be disclosed to you.
Policy Cancellation
If a policy is cancelled prior to the expiry of the insurance period, we reserve the right to refund only the net return premium received from the insurer.
Broker fees and commissions may not be refunded. A processing fee may apply.
Payment Terms
Premiums are to be paid within the timeframe specified on your invoice.
